Welcome to The Settlement
Built in 1851 from limestone rock pulled by teams of Oxen from the nearby Cibolo Creek, The Settlement was the first home built in Bulverde, Texas. It was known for miles around as a stage coach stop, a trading post, and most of all a place for a warm meal and friendly hospitality. We keep that tradition alive, here at the heart of our property. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic dinner under the stars, a reunion place for friends and family, or an intimate setting to exchange your vows with the one you love. The Settlement provides you with over 70 acres of beautiful hill country settings and outdoor activities, just minutes from downtown San Antonio.
